I met Brett Novek at the Project apparel show in Vegas this August. He started “goodhYOUman.” in memory of his dad, and sheds light on influential stories of people everywhere. This is serious business.
I have spent every fall for the last three years trying to find the leather jacket of my dreams. I’ve found it a couple times, with a price tag containing the annual income of my dreams. Nice leathers are pricey… but I’m determined to find an amazing staple, at an amazing price… but is this a realistic goal?
I’m curious to know what y’all think is a fair price for the jacket of YOUR dreams? Are you willing to spend over $500 on a staple you’ll wear for years, over $1000?! …or is staying under $200 for a couple short seasons more your style?
A little leather jacket is SO POWERFUL. To be able to throw it over a cute dress and boots, or skinny jeans and pumps! You can easily play up badass chick, or add edge to sophisticated sweetheart!
Until my dreams come true, THIS adorable bomber is my current fave. For $82, a faux leather in a great cut is all a girl really needs!

I have a BIG opinion on SMALL businesses.
Most of you know that my family owns Bonnie & Clyde Boutique, Clarkston Flower Shoppe, and The Birdfeeder. My role is the glamorously difficult jet setting opinion known as “apparel buyer”. I take multiple annual buying trips with my bff, (my mom), and we order clothing we adore enough to stock our store and own closets with. Aside from my passion for the beauty industry, the fashion industry has my heart. Bonnie & Clyde has my complete love and attention, and I can’t wait to one day open my very own storefront in Chicago.
