If you don’t already own DL1961 denim, you don’t own the perfect fitting jeans. If that’s the case, PLEASE invest in a pair, do your butt the favor, I have! I own them in two denim washes, pink, olive, and I just ordered a new pair yesterday. Oops.
I own a handful of premium denim brands, NONE fit or flatter like DLs. These puppies have a 4-WAY stretch isn’t all talk. Promise.
FALLing in love…
This time of year is just perfect. For me, fall means transitioning into newness. From the time we were itty bitty, this time of year meant new backpacks and sharp pencils. Everything was new! New teachers, friends, chordoroys…
That feeling of change chases me year after year. I adore layering and hiding under hats!
- Nordstrom tank
- Akira Chicago faux leather detail chiffon blazer
- Guess denim
- Bonnie & Clyde hat
- (my necklace and boots are adorable too! BUT it was raining and totally windy- more looks to come!)
Hope you’re loving the newness as well!
As I pack for Vegas, I’m giddy and excited to be a sponge to the industry.
I’ll be attending the biggest apparel show, surrounded by fellow bloggers, and boutique owners, and yes, even fellow hairdressers.
I recently went through a style identity crisis.
I have the sweetheart blonde side, that finds charm in Tory Burch and BCBG, and then there’s this “Made In Detroit” side, that appreciates a lived in graphic tee, leather jacket, big hair, and smokey eye. I started feeling like, as a blogger, and self-proclaied fashion expert, I needed to have a style of my own. But often, as in daily, my look evolves and changes! My mood is a turning kaleidescope and changes with each song on my playlist.
So then came the epiphany… I don’t need to identify with the sweet side, or the edgy side of fashion. I love both. I FEEL both. I truly AM both. And most importantly, I’m inspired by both.
Identifying your personal style is expressive and liberating. What you wear from your fragrance to your fringe makes a statement to the world.
What are you modeling?
Wildfox fringe top
NARS lip color
Gucci Guilty fragrance
Steve Madden wedges
Who knew denim could be feminine and edgy at the same TIME! Adoring it.
